Meet the Coaching Staff

Bill Goudy is the long time coach and one of the original founders of the Blue Chips Baseball Club. In his time with the Blue Chips, he helped lead them to two USA Cup Gold Medals (2014 & 2018) and developed over 50 players that went on to play in college (D1, D2, D3, & JUCO). Bill is the current Associate Coach for John Carroll High School Varsity Baseball. Bill is an OnBaseU and K-Motion Certified Hitting Coach. Aside from his work with teams, Bill has worked with both baseball and softball hitters to redefine their swing and approach to hitting. Bill is committed to developing athletes and people both on the field and in their lives outside the lines. Coach Goudy was named 2021 MSABC Assistant Coach of the Year and 2022 US Elite National Coach of the Year.

Alex pitched in college at Penn State-York and professionally for the Rosewell Invaders of the Pecos League. He has experience working with athletes of all ages and ability, in the batter's box and on the mound. Alex is also the John Carroll Patriots Junior Varsity Head Baseball Coach. Alex is OnBaseU and Driveline Pitching Certified.

Coach Eller was the longtime Harford Community College Head Coach, where he had over 400 wins, 5 Region XX Titles, and winning Maryland JUCO Coach of the Year 4 times. In Eller's final season at Harford, the team finished 3rd in the Nation with 112 homers in just 61 games played.After the 2018 season, Eller joined the Baltimore Orioles staff as his impressive numbers caught the attention of new GM Mike Elias. Coach Eller worked with both the Delmarva Shorebirds and the Aberdeen IronBirds this past season. Both teams set new franchise records in wins and a variety of offensive statistical categories. Tom is an OnBaseU and K-Motion Certified Hitting Coach.

Tristan was an All-Conference and All-Region catcher at Halifax County High School before moving on to Division 1 Towson University. While at Towson, Tristan earned the nickname "Powerton " after slugging two homeruns in a single game. After his college career, he served as a bullpen catcher for the Alanta Braves Rookie League affiliate the Danville Braves. Tristan's experience both at and behind the plate make him a great addition to our team!
